Daily MelWear: Momma Polkas at the Office

Okay so I don't really polka at the office. As a matter of fact, I don't polka {or do any other kind of dancing for that matter} at all. I took 10 years of dance lessons when I was younger, was even in the dance company for a year or two, but if you watch me try to dance now, you'd never know it. I have lost all sense of rhythm and it's mighty embarrassing.

Which is why you'll never watch me try to dance. Sorry. ('Cept I'm not sorry, really.)

Hey, guess what?! I'm only 11 friends away from 200 GCF followers! That blows my mind a little.

You guys make me happy. :)

What are your plans for this weekend? I know most of you are either in the States or Canada so you have Friday or Monday off. What kind of fun and shenanigans are happening?

Hope you all have a great Thursday!

Wednesday's outfit:
Brown Dress: Ross
Cardigan: Forever 21
Brown Belt: Wal-Mart
Brown Sandals: Target

  10. I love the sandals. Too cute! You'll be very proud of me. I bought a pair of cute wedge sandals from Payless and I used one of their coupon codes. I only had less than 10 minutes, so I didn't have time to look around too much, but I still didn't see any cute heels. I plan to just relax and do lot's of writing.

  12. Yay! You remembered Canada Day! I'd follow you again to help get the last 11, but apparently it doesn't work that way!

We've got an exciting weekend planned. We're going to (gasp) clean the apartment so they can start showing it. Then, we're going to cross the prairie (by car at least). However, we're on vacation for 2 weeks, so adventures like going to the cabin and going on a trip have lots of time to happen!

  13. Not much going on here this weekend. Jennifer has to work all weekend since we had last weekend off together and we start vacation next weekend. I think L and I may spend the weekend in the pool at the Y or at the state park doing some swimming and sun getting. :)

I love this cardi every time you wear it. It's just so fun and cute! Have a great day!

I have no 4th plans. Unfortunately my in-laws went out of town for their anniversary - my SIL is here taking care of D's grandmother and we'll be caring for her on the 4th in lieu of any real plans. Boooosadface.

  19. Hey Melissa! In answer to your question, I did lose about 15 lbs through Weight Watchers, but I've recently put a few pounds back. But thanks for noticing! I'm also more tan in the summer, which adds to the slimmmer appearance, I think.

  20. As someone who has always wished I was a dancer, I am in awe of you and very envious, even if you refuse to do it now. You did it once. That matters!

Wow, that is a lot of dancing.

We are driving up north to spend the 4th with my in-laws. The event will be fun but I am not looking forward to the long drive with two kids in the car.
