Did you enjoy the SheCon Lovely feature with Rachel last Friday? How about the Proper Professional with Ashley on Monday? These are really a lot of fun for me and I can't wait for you to see what's coming up soon! My SheCon Lovely for this Friday is hysterical and my Proper Professional next Monday is someone that, if you've been reading A Working Mom's Closet since February, you probably already know. I'm excited!
Today we had a class on HIPAA in our office, taught by our boss, so I had to make sure I changed into some closed-toe shoes and removed the bracelets. It's frustrating, but I am grateful to be able to wear them otherwise instead of being denied sandals and jewelry without exception.
Speaking of HIPAA - let's take a pop quiz. Anyone know what HIPAA is and what it stands for? If not, consider yourself lucky. That's what I have to say about that.
I've been thinking about hosting a giveaway for Facebook fans only, sponsored by one of the SheCon sponsors. If you're not a fan on Facebook yet, hurry on over! While you're at it, connect with me on Twitter too! I want to get to know you better!
And now, my friends, I'm going to get some work done. And hopefully get some blog reading/commenting in today too. I am SO frustrated with Google because I can't comment on any Blogger blogs that have the comment form embedded. It keeps redirecting me to sign in and never posts my comment, so just know that if you have your comment form embedded, that's likely why I haven't been able to leave you a comment. I'm sorry! And I'm strongly considering switching to Disqus these days. Eh, who knows
Hope you've all had a great start to the week and if you haven't, turn it around to finish great!
Today's outfit:
Dress: Ross
Jacket: Uh...Ross?
Belt: Uh...I can't remember (Are you sensing a theme here? I have an awful memory.)
Sandals: Beall's
Bracelets: Stein Mart
I love the print of your dress!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI would never have though to pair this blue blazer with this gorgeous floral print, but MAN do I love it!!! You look really beautiful today!!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that your boss you have the opportunity to wear close to what you want and the added luxury of just keeping a change of things around for when there are visitors or your job necessitates trips out of the office. It's a far cry from where you were a year ago, you know?

Ooh, cute once again! Love that blue color on you.
ReplyDeleteI was having the same problem with commenting. Try to click the keep signed in button in the sign in area, uncheck it and it all started working again. Hopefully it helps.
Ah i love the print of the dress and the blue blazer :) I love blue so much and it was the perfect piece to add on. I like your style ,I am following you :)

ReplyDeleteHmmm.... All I know about HIPPA is that where I work (a law office) we have to that kind of authorization signed to get medical records. =) And that's all I even want to know!
ReplyDeleteI love your blazer with that dress. The unexpected blue really works!
I love the floral print dress as well! HIPAA- Health Information Privacy Act something. I know a tad about it. Can't wait to see what you have coming up. I'm thinking of switching to type pad myself....this is crazy!

I had that blogger issue last week. It eventually worked itself out, but I agree, it was a pain.

Love that dress with a blue jacket. Glad to hear the new dresscode is working out much better.
ReplyDeleteThe blogger thing is being worked on. I was having a similar problem but it cleared up. If you're still having issues in a couple of days, contact blogger. In the mean time, consider it a break.
Love the combination of print and blue in this outfit,it is really striking
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your jacket. It's so cheerful and summery!!!
ReplyDeleteI should get double points for knowing that it has to do with health records and privacy... and not even being American!! Oh wait... knowing was a bad thing... doh!
ReplyDeleteI really love these colors together, especially with the bracelets to tie it all together. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't wait to read the Friday/Monday posts coming up...do we get bonus points if we think we can guess the Monday feature?

Man Blogger is getting a mighty fist-shaking from me! I read blog through Bloglovin' and sometimes (like this time for instance) I had to exit out of Bloglovin' for it to even recognize that I want to comment. Or sometimes when it directs me to sign in if i refresh the page and try again it will let me. Makes me crazy! But only when I have about 190 posts to read!
ReplyDeleteLove the brights on you! Makes your pretty bright face shine even more beautifully!
