Thank you guys so much for all of your advice and suggestions with the camera! I really appreciate it. I tried a couple of things this morning that helped just a teeny tiny bit (I think... Do you think these look a little better?).
Normally Thursdays are jeans day at work, but I figured since jeans are out of code anyway, it would be okay for me to be all out of code without jeans. One of my co-workers made the comment that we pay $1 to wear jeans, we don't pay $1 to be out of code in general...but I figure if my boss doesn't specifically tell me that it's not okay for me to wear these things (leopard print, although my boss is wearing a type of leopard print too, plus my blue tights, necklace and bracelet) then it's okay for me to wear them when I know we're not going to see anyone else outside of our office.
Tonight we're going to see Penn & Teller! I am SO excited! That's mainly why I didn't wear jeans today, I wanted to be a little more dressed up for going out. I suppose I could've dressed up my jeans...eh, oh well.
AND - I'm working with a sponsor for a new giveaway scheduled for Monday! I'm very, very excited about this. You will be too. Trust me.
How is YOUR week going?
Today's outfit:
Leopard Dress: Wal-Mart (I'm not kidding!)
Brown Jacket: Kohl's (I think...)
Blue Tights: Target
Blue Belt: I haven't the vaguest recollection
Brown Boots: Some outlet store years ago, I can't remember
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
Bracelet: Gift from ML (I love her!)
And a goofy shot. Just for kicks. Heh. |

ReplyDeleteFabulous leopard print! I don't know if I would have the nerve to wear this, but you are owning it!
oh my gosh...a three quarter sleeved leopard dress! I NEED one of these! Such an awesome outfit, you are so creative and bold with your outfits and I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you've been over this but I'd love to know what your dress code actually is. I feel like everything you wear is "out of code" and nothing you wear seems at all inappropriate for an office. Are you in law or fiance? Regardless, I think you look adorable.
ReplyDeletelove that color blue- I saw the perfect shoes that color at Target yesterday for $2.50!!! Have fun this weekend - 10 hour days for friday off sounds great. Can't wait to see the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteLove the blue tight (great mind think alike haha !!!) but I need a belt like yours ! Love the outfit.

ReplyDeleteCute dress!!
YOW! You look hott!! Eff whatver your co-workers have got to say, they're just jealous at your fabulosity~
ReplyDelete(I'm also a bad rebel whenever it comes to dresscodes. Back in Middle school, I never wore a belt, tucked in my shirt or wore "appropriate shoes".)
Wow! I would never be brave enough to wear a leopard-print dress, but I like how you have styled it! Oh, and I know what you mean about being a "cool" Italian--nobody ever believes I actually have Italian heritage. Swedish, maybe. Looking forward to hearing about your contest!
ReplyDeleteRock that leopard, girl! I love the bright tights with that dress.
ReplyDeleteAdorable, loving the animal print + I "heart" coloured tights -so CUTE! How fun that you are learning more about photography too! Can't wait for the giveaway. ;-) veronika
ReplyDeleteYay! Love the leopard...and the blue tights!
ReplyDeleteI think this is fun, daring, brilliant and sassy. Like Erin, I also am so curious about your job and the dress code. I'm always so curious about people. And meanies are mean just for the sake of it sometimes
ReplyDeleteSossy! That was a typo...but I left it because I like the combination of "sassy" + "saucy"! Loving the blue belt with this. Will be pairing leopard and electric blue soon!!
ReplyDeleteIn the words of Christian Siriano, you look fierce today!!! I love it!!
ReplyDeleteloving day 3 lil momma!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun combination! I also wore and animal print dress today. (It will post tomorrow.) And a fun weekend ahead of you...enjoy!

I think this outfit is amazing, no matter what any of your co-workers had to say about it...seems like your boss is the only one with any sense :)
ReplyDeleteHope Penn and Teller was fun! And Seaworld? So jealous!
You look fantastic as always! I'm loving the bodycon dress and blue accents---very cool!
