You guys are all so incredible. Thank you SO much for your recommendations and help regarding my camera/laptop questions yesterday. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! I think I've narrowed it down and I'm pretty sure about the camera at this point. Now I need to figure out the tripod and the laptop situation.
Toward the middle of this 30 for 30 challenge, I felt like I was running out of outfits and didn't know if I'd be able to finish it out. Now that we're in the last third of it, I know I can make it to the end! I've figured out a few repurposes (like today's outfit - wearing my leopard dress as a shirt and layering a skirt over it!) for certain items. I have a couple more outfit ideas but I'm pretty sure I can figure out the rest of them too. I hope so, anyway! I've been considering doing a recap post of all the outfits together. Would that be helpful or interesting to any of you or do you normally just skim over those posts?
So what do you guys think about extending Fabulous In February and making it Magnificent In March? There weren't many replies so at this point I'm thinking maybe we should keep it to February as originally planned. Do you think we should extend it?
Today's outfit:
Leopard Dress (as a shirt): Wal-Mart
Black Pencil Skirt: Ross
Blue Belt: Salvation Army
Black Pumps: Target
Gold necklace: Gift from ML

I absolutely LOVE this outfit! Definitely one of my favorites of yours! The fit is so flattering and perfect and I love the leopard dress underneath the pencil skirt..and the blue belt!? Perfection!
ReplyDeleteI really love the blue belt here - such a fun, unexpected little punch of colour with the leopard and black!
ReplyDeleteI read the text of a recap, but honestly, there are just too many pictures all in one spot for me to process. It's probably too late for this, but if you did a recap of each article the last time you wear in the challenge, that would be interesting! Kind of like how Eeek! does in every post.
ReplyDeleteBut using dresses as shirts is key! Great move!
I love the animal print and I must say that I am jealous of your belting abilities. I don't think I have the right body type for belting.
ReplyDeleteNo More Sweatpants
I love reading recap post. I have acutely started some of my recap post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to use a dress as a top. Super cute.
I having a hard time of thing of positive items about myself. So I don't think I would want to do it for a another month. But I love doing it this much.

ReplyDeleteI wish I could help with the laptop but I spent a fair bit of scratch on my new one. I thought that it was worse than trying to choose a car. It totally sucks so good luck!~ <3
That dress works well as a shirt, and the animal print looks great with the blue belt.

Love this look- the blue belt really pops it up! I misread the first sentence and thought you meant we were only 1/2 way through the challenge...I would have to quit if that was the case ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using the dress as a top. I do that too. Or use the dress as a skirt and cover the top. Kind of doubles the possibilities within your closet. Recap would be cool. I just would love if you do larger photos to see details. If you are getting a compact camera you can by those flexible tripod thingies. They work great.
ReplyDeletelove the pop of blue in the belt!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about wearing my dress as a shirt! I love the blue + animal print, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe ol' dress as shirt, I have yet to try that this round. I like that unexpected blue belt!

You are just too cute with the leg up pose! Love that leopard print! I definitely chose more dresses because of their versatility. I just wish I had one with the sass of the animal print.

I love recaps. Also, I'd be all about some Magnificent in March.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE this outfit!! I have almost no animal prints in my closet, but I think I've finally realized I should give them a try more often, because this is super cute!! I love the way the belt adds that final bit of color too! Just perfect! :)
