Daily MelWear: Outfit 16/30

Oh, you guys. I'm seriously running out of office appropriate combinations now. I have some ideas for outfits that I could wear in a more relaxed office, but they wouldn't work for my boss. And they're not casual enough for weekends.

AND - it's supposed to be in the upper 70's and low 80's for at least the next week! I didn't pick out warm weather pieces! Most of my things are long-sleeved or layering pieces, not a whole lot of stand-alone warm weather items. OY.

Anyway...that's really all I had to say. Just wanted to whine for a minute. I have lots of other things to whine about but I won't bore you with them.

Instead, I'll just tell you what the surprise part is in this post! Maru, the incredibly talented and generous woman behind the beautiful Pronta scarves is offering readers of A Working Mom's Closet a 15% off discount when you place an order using the code PRONTALOVE15. Several of you mentioned wanting to order even if you didn't win, so hurry! Now's your chance to order with a discount!

Today's outfit:
Leopard Skirt: Salvation Army
Pink/Purple Ruffled Cardigan: Plato's Closet
Teal Tank (Free Item, not in the 30): Target
Black Pumps: Target
Necklace: Charlotte Russe (I think...)
Black Belt: Can't remember

  18. Love the ruffles!!

I know you've probably tried every trick in the book, but I had a friend teach potty training with a doll. She had her daughter teach her doll how to potty in the toilet-- and it worked!

  19. Kileen's comment is funny. I think you'll figure something out. I hope you aren't forced to wear a skirt as a top. I know at this point we'll all be lucky to wear things that even somewhat match. I've put tons of outfits together I'd probably never wear if I had my choice. The two shirts are creative and turned out really well. AND...80's, I wish I lived in Florida.

  24. I tried to think about the weather when planning my 30 for 30. i was going to pick all long sleeves and layering pieces but I looked and last year I started wearing 3/4 sleeves in mid February so I altered my choices.
