Oh, you guys. I'm seriously running out of office appropriate combinations now. I have some ideas for outfits that I could wear in a more relaxed office, but they wouldn't work for my boss. And they're not casual enough for weekends.
Anyway...that's really all I had to say. Just wanted to whine for a minute. I have lots of other things to whine about but I won't bore you with them.
Instead, I'll just tell you what the surprise part is in this post! Maru, the incredibly talented and generous woman behind the beautiful Pronta scarves is offering readers of A Working Mom's Closet a 15% off discount when you place an order using the code PRONTALOVE15. Several of you mentioned wanting to order even if you didn't win, so hurry! Now's your chance to order with a discount!
Today's outfit:
Leopard Skirt: Salvation Army
Pink/Purple Ruffled Cardigan: Plato's Closet
Teal Tank (Free Item, not in the 30): Target
Black Pumps: Target

ReplyDeleteI think the issues around work and weekend appropriate and weather are what make this challenge so interesting! You can do it!
ReplyDeleteyou're doing great so far in the remix challenge! i know some people ended up wearing skirts as tops in some instances and this might work for you too once the weather get warmer?
ReplyDeletei love the cute ruffles in the shirt!
cute and little
come join the Color Brigade!
I can't believe you found that skirt at Salvation Army! What a find! I love the pops of color in the tops with the leopard! Such a fun combination
ReplyDeleteI love the purple and the teal together!
ReplyDeletegreat ruffled sweater - the color is awesome! we are on the back 15 now!
ReplyDeleteLoving the ruffles too! You'll figure something out as the weather gets warmer! Is the A/C blasting at your work like is mine? Maybe wear layers that can be removed when you step outside of the office.
ReplyDeleteI love the pink ruffles. You are doing great, don't give up on the challenge, I am sure you will think of something creative.
ReplyDeleteI love the bright pink color on you!
ReplyDeleteYour ruffles are lovely!
ReplyDeleteI loooove love love this color combo! And I'm going back to work, now, so these kids can graduate. *Stabbing eye with pencil.*
ReplyDeleteLovely necklace and ruffles! I'm still of the mind that this particular 30/30 came at a bad time for a lot of bloggers. Hope you're able to finish it out.
ReplyDeleteI really like this color combo! You could do a low-slung belt--I believe in you! :)
ReplyDeleteso pretty! such a lovely color combo. And I do love that skirt.
ReplyDeleteLoving the leopard skirt paired with the pink top! Sorry you are running out of combinations...this is why I would never do the challenge lol!
ReplyDeleteLove the ruffles!!
ReplyDeleteI know you've probably tried every trick in the book, but I had a friend teach potty training with a doll. She had her daughter teach her doll how to potty in the toilet-- and it worked!
Kileen's comment is funny. I think you'll figure something out. I hope you aren't forced to wear a skirt as a top. I know at this point we'll all be lucky to wear things that even somewhat match. I've put tons of outfits together I'd probably never wear if I had my choice. The two shirts are creative and turned out really well. AND...80's, I wish I lived in Florida.
ReplyDeleteLoving this combo. The ruffles and the animal print skirt is great. Sorry you are running out of combos. With your crazy work code I am not surprised.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great salvation army find! And the ruffly shirt is so pretty and flouncy! Love the look and the layered tops!
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome that you took this challenge on, with the added restrictions of your work code. I think you're doing a fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteYou look great :)
I like your ruffled cardigan, and your skirt. Good luck coming up with work appropriate outfits for the rest of the challenge. At least you're over halfway there!!!
ReplyDeleteI tried to think about the weather when planning my 30 for 30. i was going to pick all long sleeves and layering pieces but I looked and last year I started wearing 3/4 sleeves in mid February so I altered my choices.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the colors in this outfit! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI totally love the sweater! So pretty, and i love how you paired it with more color.
ReplyDeleteI know, I should just hit mark all as read, but I'm going back through and skimming everyone's post and trying to hit the highlights! Okay, so this is a super cute outfit!! I love the colors and the skirt! :)
