Daily MelWear: BBCA Day 13

My mind is completely and utterly blank this morning.  I'm trying to come up with something witty or clever or interesting to say and it's just not happening.

So, I'll post some pictures. And the link to the list of Blogging for Breast Cancer aWEARness participants, because we have a couple more!

And I'll ask again for more jokes.  Because I still need more funnies. Or tell me an interesting fact about yourself! Yes, let's do that too! I want to get to know you better, so talk to me.

Hope you're all having a good week so far!
I'm now considering that maybe the top is slightly too big.
Ya think? Heh.

Today's outfit:
Dress: Salvation Army
Pink Belt: Salvation Army
Pink Flats: Target
Pink Necklace/Earrings: Beya

  1. Melissa, you are doing such a fabulous job on this challenge..really:)
I enjoy peeking to see what your pink outfits are going to be everyday:)
LOVE the little belt...I cant seem to find a thin one thats tight enough in the middle....:(

    Hmmmm...interesting fact.....heres one:
Laughing lowers levels of stress hormones and strengthens the immune system. Six-year-olds laugh an average of 300 times a day. Adults only laugh 15 to 100 times a day.

*so get to laughing chickie!!! luv ya!

  2. Hi Melissa: it seems like you are doing good with your challenge. I don't think I can stay committed to it to be honest with you. You look lovely and that pink belt adds a nice touch to your black dress.

I guess one fact about me is I love the aroma of fresh brewed coffee but I don't drink coffee, does that make sense? Lol Have a great day.

  3. I see you found a pink belt. It looks great with this outfit!!!

Little known fact about me (and well known fact among friends and family who spend time around me)...I'm a complete and total klutz! I'm always spilling, dropping, or tripping over things! I usually think it's funny unless I spill on my nice clothes, then I freak out :)

  4. oooh! I like your dress more than I like mine! Yours seems to have more structure and flare! And if the top is a touch to big, just think of it as more room to layer under it!

It's far too early in my morning for jokes, so an interesting fact it will have to be. Despite my interest in clothing, shopping, baking, knitting and other things typically cast as girly, my favourite thing to do is just to be hanging out as "one of the guys".

  10. Hope your day starts looking up!! Let's see an interesting fact about myself is if I really like a song I will listen to it (and only it) for about a month and then I never want to hear it again! It drives my hubby crazy!

  12. Lovely shirt dress, it could probably use a small pintuck to give better fit, but it's got a great shape overall.

I'm trying to find 3 good things everyday. I'm considering starting this tradition with D every night. Life has gotten crazy stressful and I'm focusing too much on the wrong things and need more positivity.

    Hang in there ♥

  13. I love the pink belt - it's the perfect shade, especially with that great shirtdress!

I've been feeling a similar lack of words when starting most blog posts. I think it's just a phase - life being too busy, not enough time, etc. Hang in there!

  18. Love that pink belt! It's perfect for cinching in that dress.
I can never think of jokes when asked. And then, I'm only good at telling them because I act most of them out to some degree.

An interesting fact about me... I never leave the house without earrings (I feel naked) or without my ID (in case I die). It's not that I'm morbid, I just want to be identified if something happens.
