  2. I hope its okay to respond here :). I definitely intend to wear white after Labor Day, but probably not as much. I agree that style bloggers are breaking rules and that's a good thing. If your clothing makes you happy, and you think it looks good on you, and its respectful to your social setting, who cares? Fashion should be liberating. :)

  5. I think it's completely fine to wear white after labor day save white cotton skirts and dresses. I think there are plenty of ways to fall-ize you other whites!

  6. This is a rule that I happily break. However, I find that I'm drawn to certain colors at certain times of the year. Our summer is so brief that I'm always jumping to wear bright, happy colors; in early fall, I love colors that remind me of leaves changing colors and pumpkins. Winter and spring tend to be pretty gray so I try to liven them up by wearing brighter colors.

  7. Thanks for weighing in! (And thanks for the award Collette, and for thinking of me Marilou!)

I agree that I'm drawn to more fall-ish shades in the fall too and tend to wear those more often. I have a strapless dress that I bought a while ago that's black and...brown-ish. I think. But it's almost a plaid design and I feel like it would look out of place in the summer, even though it's lightweight and strapless, so I'm waiting until more into the fall to wear it.

But my light-colored skirts, florals, pastel stripes, I'm still planning on wearing those well into fall and winter.
