Look! A skirt, belt and heels. So while everything else in my life is chaotic, at least my outfits can be normal again.
This skirt is one that I've considered giving away, but then I saw this post by Melanie and decided to try the same thing. It works okay.
And again, I don't really have much to say. I'm sorry I'm so withdrawn lately. I appreciate the emails, comments and Twitter replies you've all been sending. It really means so much to me. I can't tell you how grateful I am for your support and your kindness. I really need a lot of that right now.
Today's outfit:
White Skirt: Gap (long, long time ago...)
Purple Tee: Plato's Closet
Black Belt: Kohl's (came with a different shirt)
Tweed Pumps: Wal-Mart
Necklace/Earrings: Wal-MartBracelet: Gift from Marilou
You look great today. I love the way you belted the skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you belted it too--creating a "paper bag" type of skirt!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! See, aren't you glad you didn't toss that skirt? I am! :)

p.s.- my word verification is "forks," which for some reason made me smile really big just now.
a beautiful outfit on you!
ReplyDeleteLooking at your picture, I would have said that you are perfectly well-rested and relaxed. You look absolutely gorgeous! Man, I always look tired even when I've had a full night's sleep and am feeling fine.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love 1) that you remixed an item that you preveiously had reservations about and 2) that you're wearing white after Labor Day, and looking so, so beautiful in it!
I am soo happy you like the bracelet and esp. giddy that its your first!
ReplyDeletelove ya!
