Daily MelWear: Outfit 29/30

Hi friends! Thank you all so much for your comments about Flickr, your suggestions and your emails. I'm going to try several of them and see what happens. Yay!

And...I only have one more outfit to go! Hooray!!! I'm actually going to do this! In all honesty, I have several more combinations that I can think of but I didn't have opportunties to wear them all, with the weather getting so warm. Speaking of which, I can't believe that Spring is almost here! Woo-hoo!

So today my boss said this dress is too low-cut. Which is okay, because I kind of really liked it with the cardigan on top and I can think of other layers underneath it. I can work with that.
Isn't this necklace gorgeous?! Thanks, ML!

And now, I'm going to get some work done. Or something.

Are you all having a good week? What's been your favorite part of this week so far?

  3. I don't know how you keep up with such strict work attire rules. It would drive me crazy. A job I was offered once required me to wear polos every day and that and the awful salary and driving were the two major reasons I turned it down.

  4. I just had so much fun looking at all of your 30 for 30 outfits. In one post you mentioned putting all the outfits together. I did that when I took the challenge in the fall and it really helped me see patterns in how I dressed. The thing that jumped out for me was that I needed to use more color. I was really impressed with how you kept your outfits lively with color. You did a great job!

  5. Phew - glad she saved that comment until the end of your 30x30... it could have been a long stretch if she said it at the beginning

  6. Bummer about being told that it is too low cut, but it did look really cute under that cardigan.

  8. Uhm I can't spell...
I can see your collar bone in that dress. I'm so way offended :)
That is so funny Melissa. She would've hated to see me when I was breastfeeding. The girls got so big, even a turtleneck couldn't contain them.

  10. Congratulations! I am still learning how to mix and match what I have so I'm gonna wait a while before taking the 30 for 30 challenge.

Just wanted to say: I love that dress.

  11. Too funny! She'd hate some of my tops, then...not because I'm trying to hussy it up or anything, just because there's only so much I can do :)

I can't believe we're almost done! I can't wait to bring my closet out of retirement!

  12. I know, I was thinking of doing a 30 for 40, or 30 for 45, just to see how long I could go with the combos--but I miss my other clothes too much. Can't wait to see the last 30 for 30 look!

I personally would have just buttoned the overshirt up and belted it back.

  27. Nice! The animal print always says "rrroar!", but the shimmery hot pink adds a wolf whistle, yes? I do like the necklace! I just noticed that the top of your dress ruches diagonally (or something like that).

Come link up Thursday and join me in a happy dance!
