I didn't realize until several people pointed it out that I wore a belt every single day during the challenge. Although it doesn't really surprise me. I think I have an addiction. Today is further proof! I will say that I didn't wear a belt on Saturday or Sunday, though I didn't post those outfits. I'm sure you'll see them soon enough anyway. One of them I posted in a reply to ML on Twitter and I know some of you saw it.
I went to a little fashion show on Sunday with a friend of mine, hosted by a small local boutique. It was fun, they only modeled clothing from their store which was fine and some of them were really cute. More expensive than I usually go for, but it was fun anyway. They said "pops of gold" are in for spring. Hm.
There's not much to say about this. I'm feeling kind of uncomfortable because either I'm gaining weight or the skirt shrunk. It's a little more snug than I'd like so it sits higher (read: shorter) than my comfort level. I forsee myself pulling it down all day long, since I've been doing that all morning. The teal blouse is from a package that my aunt sent me with clothes her boss got rid of. Some of them still had the tags on! I love free clothes.
These shoes are against the dress code because they're not closed-toe, but I figured I'd see if I can get away with them in this new(ish) position. I brought some others to change in to if anyone says something. I'd bought them just before I got the first job with the health system so I haven't gotten much wear out of them but they're so cute!
By the way, I'm going to pick the winner of the Shopbop Gift Card later today! Whee!
Alright, I should really get some work done. I have a lot to do at the office today so I don't know if I'll get a chance to visit and comment on blogs. I hope so, I feel like I've missed so much since I didn't get to read any over the weekend!
Today's outfit:
Skirt: TargetTeal Blouse: From my aunt
Pink Tank (mostly unseen): Plato's Closet
Gold Belt: Charlotte Russe
Heels: Target
Necklace & Bracelet: Gifts from ML
