Daily MelWear: Ladylike Pink and Turquoise

Hi friends!

Since so many of you asked what kind of camera I ended up getting, here's a link. I've only used it for two days and haven't had a chance to read anything so I don't know much, but I will say that so far I LOVE it! I'm glad it seems like you're all able to see a difference in the quality of the pictures, too. That makes me happy!

This dress is one of the ones I bought a few weeks ago at Ross during my retail therapy. Although technically the print is out of dress code (and the bare arms might be as well), I do like the silhouette, the length and the neckline. It's got a fun 50's vibe to it! What I wish I had is a pair of yellow or turquoise pumps. I really need to branch out in bright footwear.

Today's activities at work include another training session this morning for the new electronic system we're going to implement at the end of April and then delivering packets to our board members for next week's meeting. Plus all my regular work too. Whee!

I'm seriously having way too much fun with this camera. :)

What's on your agenda today?

Today's outfit:
Dress: Ross
Belt: Charlotte Russe
Black Pumps: Target
Turquoise Necklace: Beya

  2. Perhaps you could bring it closer to IN dress code with a light cardigan. :) But...it is pretty all by itself!!

  15. Love the dress, hate the dress code limiting your style, and I spent the day chasing around my tail. It feels like I didn't get anything done yet!

  27. Girl, that dress is ah-maze-ing! I am swooning over here. I absolutely love the silhouette and length (I think skirts that hit the mid-knee are the most flattering).

  28. i'd lend you my yellow shoes if i could! :) and hooray for new cameras!! we were going to get one with our tax return, but then with the move, i don't think it's going to happen anytime soon ... so i'll just bask in the crispness of your pictures instead of being sad about mine! :)

  30. I am avoiding all the things I have to do during my "break" but I know come Friday I'll be stressing. Sigh, I should just start :(

  31. This is such a gorgeous dress. The print is fantastic and the silhouette really suits your hourglass figure. Just stunning! Pink and turquoise is one of my favorite combos together.

And so glad you were able to put your tax refund to great use! I was delighted to find out that I would get a hefty tax refund...but then almost all of it went to car maintenance. But I can't complain -- at least I didn't have to pay for the maintenance out of pocket. That would have put me in a REALLY crummy mood!

  32. Are all prints out of your dress code, or is it just some types of prints? Do you have a post where you just outline your work dress code? I get more and more curious every time you mention it.
