I figured it was time for long sleeves. Granted, they're light-weight sleeves but they're long nonetheless. And I'm wearing booties. Yay!
I had such lofty goals of doing a BBCA Challenge Recap post but that hasn't happened yet. (Clearly.) I do want to thank all of you that participated for bringing awareness to breast cancer prevention, research and treatment. If you have stories to tell, please let me know because I WILL publish those (with your permission and they can be anonymous if you'd like or I can link to your blog) - but I need you to share them with me!
Today started out sleepily. I'm not sure if I'm just not sleeping well or if I just need to catch up on some sleep. Maybe I'm dehydrated. I really don't know, all I know is that I'm exhausted!
My girl came out of her room just a few minutes before I had to leave for work so I was able to get lots of kisses and snuggles and giggles to get me through the day! Plus we were able to FaceTime with her dad for a few minutes too. I'm so grateful for the iPhone 4's ability to video chat. So very grateful.
And THEN - on my way to work my co-worker asked me what I'd like from Panera because she'll be stopping there later this morning! Woo-hoo! Pumpkin goodies!
Now I'm off to do more research on letter blocks so I can re-take that test next week. :)
Hope you all had a great Wednesday night and are having a good Thursday so far! I think I might be able to catch up on blogs in the next couple of days - yay!!! I can't wait to read about everyone again!

You look amazing! I love this short sleeve jacket over a long sleeve tee! You kind of have novel ideas... every.single.day. That's not the only reason I love you so much, though!
ReplyDeleteI bet it it was SO great to see little one last night for a good amount of time and have her there when you woke up! And I bet it was even kind of (maybe just a little bit?) cool to not have to rush and get her read to go anywhere in the morning!
Study, study, my buddy! You'll do great. :)
Are you doing Kendi's 30 for 30?
Awww! I'm glad you were able to spend time with your little girl.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of the weather you're having - we've had highs of 50s up this way. Soon, though, I'll be enjoying similar weather. :)
LOVE the long sleeve shirt hunnie......so happy you are getting cooler weather!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your test.....you will do fine babes!!

I love layering long sleeve tops under short sleeve jackets - I'm really resistant to having separate "winter" and "Summer" wardrobes. Sure, there are things that don't really work in both seasons, but I love when I can find ways to take a summer staple and make it winter appropriate! You look great!
ReplyDeleteLove your blazer. I so Happy you got giggle time this morning with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteAlso Like I said on your Facebook. I had so much Fun wear Pink for Breast Cancer awareness. Also with all the researched i did for my daily breast cancer item I love a lot more.

ReplyDeleteLong sleeves for 79F? Lol! You must have really acclimated to Florida. I at least wait for highish 60s to pull out long sleeves. Enjoy your cooler weather though! Maybe it'll be nice enough for a sweater soon.
Goodluck on your test!
