Daily MelWear: This Isn't Kansas

There are more thunderstorms and tornado watches today. Seriously?! This is Florida, not Kansas. Meh.

Since it's going to be rainy and windy and yucky (and I'm supposed to deliver meeting packets to our board members - yay.), I decided to wear pants and a jacket. Short-sleeved, because it won't be cold really, and belted because, well...that's just how I roll.

I'm short on words today so I'll just wish you all a fabulous Tuesday and hope you're having better weather than we are!

Today's outfit:
Jacket: From my aunt
Plaid Shirt: Target
Black PantsCharlotte Russe
Black Heels: Target
Necklace: Charlotte Russe

  1. Weather seems crazy everywhere! The other day it was a beautiful spring day - we went to see a movie in the evening and when we got out of the theatre there was a blizzard going on!

Have a great day Melissa! You look great, my eye is drawn to that necklace!

  2. The storms rolled through ATL late last night/early morning. I think I slept a total of three hours. It was awful. Love the coral blazer on you!

  3. It rained and thundered light crazy here yesterday! We even had a lake forming in the parking lot at work. People actually had to move their cars because it kept growing!

I seem to remember you mentioning in a previous post that you don't really like how pants look on you, but these look great! This pair seems to have a straighter and slightly more narrow leg, maybe that's the style for you? I really like this outfit.

  4. Love your Coat. My MIL asked if we where get the crazy rain here. Which we are. Stay warm and dry today.

  5. Wow, the storm that passed through GA last night was crazy - but not as bad as last week's that hit right between Orlando and Tampa! I saw the devestation at the Sun 'n Fun Airshow - holy cow!

  6. We had that going on all last night, and because of the tornado watch+severe storm warning combo, the tornado sirens were going off nonstop, too. I hate spring storms!

Love that blazer...and it looks fantastic belted, so you keep doing what you do :)

  9. How super cute! I love the jacket. Take it easy in those storms! Our's passed over last night with minor damages. The perils of an early spring.
