I don't have a whole lotta time today, so I just wanted to stop in real quick and say hello. We have our board meeting tonight using the brand new system for the first time, so we're busy converting projects and reassigning and building the agenda and all sorts of fun things.
By the way, I have NO idea what's up with the fuzzy effect on the top of the photos. Does my camera lens need to be cleaned already or something?
Today's outfit:
Khaki Skirt Suit: RossRed Shirt: Target
Red Heels: From my mom
Black Belt: Can't remember
Not sure what's going on with the camera, but I wanted to stop by and tell you what a great job you've been doing at "adhering" to the dress code and also looking fun and creative at the same time. Loving it :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pleats on your skirt! You look professional and stylish at the same time...love it :)
ReplyDeletesuch a cute skirt!
ReplyDeleteHmmm yeah weird fuzzy effect going on , that's so strange!
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt it's so cute and flirty - yet appropriate ;)
Have a great day!
Thanks for reminding me of this colour combination: I got an awesome red ruffled shirt this last week, but forgot all about it when my khaki skirt caught my eye last night! Ended up not wearing either today, but I'll have to keep this in mind!
ReplyDeletePRETTY! I love the khaki suit! It's so springy and perfect. The pleats make me love it extra a lot. And red looks gorgeous on you! HOW are you so tan, already? I'm just crispy and burned. :(
ReplyDeleteI brought out the khaki today, too. Looove it. It is going to be in the 70s for two days in a row and I had to bring out some light colors to celebrate!!
ReplyDeleteI think you look mazing for the board meeting tonight. And I love those shoes. I just told Jennifer the other day that I need to get some more fun shoes!!
Have a great day!
Cute outfit. I love the pop of black in it.

I love the khaki and red too - must try!
ReplyDeleteNow, this is a great professional look...the untucked shirt and shoes give it a trendy feel, but the jacket and skirt keep it work appropriate! Great job!!
ReplyDeleteCute shoes, you look pretty and professional!
ReplyDeleteLove the way the red blouse works with the jacket with its different length
ReplyDeleteLove the frilly flounce of your skirt!!
ReplyDeleteMy camera's being weird lately too. At least yours is malfunctioning in a flattering way. It's sort of like Glamour Shot-ish. You know, only without the big hair, popped collar, and extreme closeup. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the little ruffle at the bottom of your skirt too. It's so fun!
soooo sassy fabulous! i had a friend in high school who would spread carmex (remember that lip stuff back in the day? no? FINE. i'm old) on the edge of her camera lens to get a fuzzy effect. i know. i had weird friends in h.s. my camera was doing some funky stuff the other day, too, and i ended up cleaning it, and it made a world of difference. not that your pics are bad. just, y'know, you asked, so..... hoo boy. hand me that shovel, will you? need to start digging myself out...

Fabulous suit! I adore the pleat detail. It makes a "boring" suit extra kicky. (I love suits anyway, personally, but it's allll in the details, Amirite?)
ReplyDeleteNow THIS is how you do a suit! So much more exciting and feminine than the average suit! You look so stunning. And can I just say that I'm so envious of your calves!
ReplyDeleteI love the red shirt with all the khaki! The ruffles at the bottom of the skirt add such a femine touch to the suit. Great look!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the khaki and red combo and the ruffle details on the skirt!!
ReplyDeleteHope you figure out the new system soon I hate change like that! You look beautiful! I get fuzzy photo's every once in a while and usually it's a dirty lens.
ReplyDeleteThe bottom of that skirt is so cute!
ReplyDeleteSO professional today, but with a kick of "Melissa" with the awesome shoes. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit!! I also LOVE the new blog laout and header (am I super late on this?)!!!
ReplyDeleteI do believe this is the first time I have seen khaki and red paired together and NOT thought "Target employee." So to that I say, KUDOS! I love this skirt suit! The little flouncy pleats at the bottom of the skirt are darling.
ReplyDeleteHurrah for little pleats!
ReplyDeleteYou look majorly snazzy! I love how the skirt has the extra detail and how you belted it (a nice personal touch). And those shoes are just fab.
ReplyDeleteI have trouble with my camera similar to that when I take indoor photos. I think it's the lighting? But I'm not sure. I don't know anything about my camera.
Your outfit poses always bring a smile to my face....Hope you are having a great week and had a nice easter.
ReplyDeleteLove the red and kahki combo and those shoes are ADORABLE:)

I love the red/khaki combination but after working at Target out of high school, I rarely wear it myself. This looks so great though. I love the khaki suit with the pop of unexpected red. Looks fab!!
