Daily MelWear: One More Time...

Look! I did it again! I put an outfit together WITHOUT A BELT. Belters Anonymous would be proud!

If such a thing existed and all.

I almost did grab a belt but then I figured it went over okay last time without one, so I could do it again. It's comfy and the cardigan draws the waist in enough, right?

Smile and nod, ya'll, smile and nod...

So I feel like I haven't been around to visit blogs lately because...well...I haven't. I've been busy. And work is getting really busy as we work on our policies and procedures in preparation for our upcoming accreditation.

I miss reading all of your blogs! At least my reason for not being able to do much reading lately is a happy one. I'm happy. And I hope you are too.

Have a fabulous Tuesday, friends!

Today's outfit:
Skirt: Kohl's
Pink Tee: Target
Cardigan: Kohl's
Heels: Wal-Mart

  1. Cute cute look! I think this works sans belt because the cardi hits your waist at its tiniest spot :). I love the skirt too!

  2. I think you are good without a belt. This is cute and looks really comfortable.

While you haven't been around to read blogs, I haven't been around to WRITE mine. UGH! Last week I didn't feel good and there was personal drama. And yesterday I had L with me at work and didn't have TIME for picture taking and writing. Hoping to have a post up today, though. We will see.

  4. The belt would have messed with the sequins on the cropped sweater, so good call! Very cute today.

  5. It definitely works without the belt. The sequined cardi is adorable and that skirt is awesome! Glad you are feeling good and work is busy. That is a plus!

  6. You go girl! I agree with you and the other ladies. Since the cardi hits you at the smallest part of your waist, you're good to go! I'm loving the skirt and the varying lengths of your shirt and cardi. Makes you look put together and slim!

  18. I'm so glad you're happy! You definitely deserve it! I'm so curious as to your new happiness....

There's something liberating about not wearing a belt, when you're used to it, isn't there?

  19. I'm glad you're so happy, because you deserve whatever good things are going on in your life right now :)

And you're right...the cropped cardigan totally does the duty of a belt here. And I love the sparkles!!

  20. I like belts, but I don't think that outfit needs one since the shorter cardigan defines your waist.

  22. So cute, Mel! I love the pop of pink amongst the browns. The print on that skirt is so lovely. I've been away too... hanging onto the last days of summer. Trying to enjoy every minute of it, while it lasts. I'm pretty sure we're in for a cold fall/winter in Oregon.

  24. Careful ma'am, it's a slipper slope from belt addiction to cardigan addiction. Consider yourself warned. Love the cute cardi!

  25. the shirt sticking out under the cardigan is like a half belt so maybe that's why you don' feel naked... or maybe it was everyone's nice comments last time around.
